This is an exceptional blend of a Colombian single producer Yellow Caturra (grown by our pal Esnaider Ortega and his family), blended with a single origin Red Bourbon grown by micro farms sharing the same farmland and growing the same variety in Rwanda's Southern Province. In addition to being a coffee that supports the employment of people with disabilities, and genuine direct trade relationships with farmers, it will also help raise money and awareness to help fight blood cancers in Canada.

This coffee is named after Mary, the mother-in-law of the Artery's owner and head roaster. Mary passed away from a rare blood cancer. Someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer in Canada every 23 minutes. A portion of all sales ($1-$3 a bag depending on size) of this coffee will be donated to the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.

Coffee with a conscience never tasted so good.

As it is called, "finest"

This is one of the finest roasted coffees in town. While the artery is small roaster, the quality of this coffee is on pair with all the other high quality coffees from Toronto and other roasteries. Not only it is a flavorful coffee with complex aromas but it is also perfectly roasted. Very impressive.

Big fan!

I am a big fan of this coffee :D! My husband only really likes to drink light roast coffee, and I wasn't sure how he would like a medium-light roast coffee. The verdict is out: we are both big fans of this one. It is tasty and smooth. Our drip coffee machine grinds the coffee freshly every morning. We have added this coffee to our list of favourites.

My favourite coffee in Ottawa

Artery coffees are consistently excellent and delivered freshly-roasted. It’s difficult to find good, flavourful medium and light roasts, and Mary’s Finest is a perfect everyday coffee. I use it in pour-over, aeropress, and cold-brew and it has good balance and intensity without being over-roasted.
